Description

Download Aru's Modding ability Patch - this is a small, but powerful tool, because it will basically trick your game into thinking that all the files are original.

Highly suggest you to backup any files before replacing them.

Navigate to the Gtaiv main folder (in my case its D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV\) retail will be different.

Then navigate to the common folder then text and replace American.gxt (grand theft auto iv\GTAIV\common\data\effects\explosionFx.dat).
